BOOKING FIT LAB: SHARED-RESOURCE TRIAL CHECKLIST Version: 16 September 2026 These are proposed tests. No vendor is claimed to have passed them. Use a trial account, fictional customer details and your own authorised test calendars. Do not take real payments or use actual customer data for testing. RECORD FIRST Product and plan: Date and tester: Billing period, initial total and renewal total: Booking allowance and how linked reservations count: Enabled features, resource groups and calendar settings: FIXTURE Staff: Alex, Blair and Casey. Rooms: A and B. Equipment: one projector. Online appointment: one staff member only. In-person appointment: one staff member and one room. Demonstration: one staff member, one room and the projector. Use one day with all staff available; disable external sync initially. Test as a customer, not as an administrator allowed to override constraints. 1. EQUIPMENT CONFLICT Book Alex, Room A and projector 10:00-11:00. Try to book a demonstration with Blair and Room B at the same time. It must be unavailable. An ordinary in-person appointment should still be possible. 2. ROOM CAPACITY AND ONLINE EXCEPTION Book Alex in Room A and Blair in Room B 10:00-11:00, without the projector. Casey must be unavailable for an in-person service but available online. 3. WHOLE-INTERVAL ROOM Book Room A 10:00-10:30 and Room B 10:30-11:00, leaving Casey available. A 10:00-11:00 appointment requiring one fixed room must not be confirmed. 4. EQUIPMENT TURNAROUND A projector booking ends at 10:00. Configure a 10-minute equipment buffer. A demonstration with another staff member at 10:00 must be blocked; 10:10 should be available if all other requirements are free. Check which resources the vendor actually applies the buffer to. 5. CANCEL AND RESCHEDULE Cancel a reservation and check that every linked resource reopens. Reschedule and check that the old interval reopens and the new one closes. 6. LAST SLOT, TWO CUSTOMERS In two separate customer sessions, select the last compatible slot. Attempt to complete both. No more than one must confirm. If the second fails, it must not leave resources reserved or a payment captured. Use sandbox/test payments only, if supported and authorised. 7. EXTERNAL CALENDARS AND CONFIRMATION With authorised test calendars, add a busy interval externally. Measure when it becomes blocked for a customer. Check the assigned room in emails/calendar invitations and what happens after cancellation. 8. COST AND LIMITS Check future-vs-monthly booking counts, staff seats, room/equipment seats, add-on limits, setup effort and renewal price. Save the plan and date. Record each result as PASS / FAIL / NOT RUN / UNCLEAR with evidence. Passing our local simulator tests does not establish vendor performance.
